40 Prayers to Pray Over Your Children and Future Children!
Speaking God’s promises over your children's lives before and after they are born.....
My daughter recently celebrated her birthday, and I’ve prayed for her even more. I already pray for her daily, but recently, the Lord laid it on our hearts to go on a fast for her. Since then, he’s been speaking to us about her and directing me to specific scriptures to pray over her, and I’ve been writing them down.
My friend also gave me a book titled Praying Circles Around Your Children” by Mark Batterson, which talks about how to pray for your children. It has real-life examples of parents who prayed consistently over their children and saw results, and it also shares five biblically backed prayer circles you can pray around your children. Honestly, the book couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.
Whether you’re praying for a child you already have or your future children, here are forty prayers you should pray over your children and future children.
I have done the hard work, so you don’t have to, so feel free to copy and paste them into your journal, notes app, or wherever it is easy for you to see. Make sure you insert your child’s/ children’s names before each prayer:
