If you’ve ever looked at someone who is successful and thought, I would love to have a conversation with them, this one is for you.
I recently sat down with Bolaji Ajibare, popularly known online as social media Oga and Bolaji Billions and she is very successful in the social media space in all ramifications.
Bolaji is a social media strategist, digital marketer, educator and community builder. Over the past five years, she has built a community of 250,000+ creators, freelancers and social media professionals, helping people develop the skills and knowledge to build careers and businesses in the digital space. She has spoken at institutions and events including Imperial College London and the Adobe Ambassador London Summit and has been recognized as one of All Marketing School’s “Top 100 Marketers to Watch in 2026.”
What I found most interesting about our conversation was her mindset.
Bolaji: “Every single point where you think you’ve achieved, there’s somebody that’s achieved more.”
“There is a difference between celebrating your wins and getting comfortable with them.”
“One thing I’ve noticed about people who continue to succeed is that they don’t allow one win to convince them they’ve arrived. They keep learning, growing, failing, and keep getting better at their craft.”
Bolaji explained failure is also part of success, and starting over isn’t a failure, it’s just part of the process.
She spoke about her Instagram page that was taken down three separate times after she had built her platform to over 100k followers, but she kept rebuilding every single time and didn’t let the setback stop her.
When she moved to the UK, her YouTube channel had 5,000 subscribers and today, it has grown to 26,000.
If you have failed multiple times, and you are tired of trying again, this episode is for you.
Go again, and keeping going until you see results, because life has away of rewarding those who are consistent.

This was such an encouraging read! ❤️ I particularly loved the reminder that success isn’t about never experiencing setbacks, but having the courage to keep going despite them. Sometimes we become so focused on where we want to be that we forget to appreciate how far we’ve already come. Such a beautiful reminder to keep learning, growing and trusting the process. 🦋
