The Becoming Conference | Breaking & Blooming Panel — December 2025
I was part of a panel at The Becoming Conference in London, Ontario and we talked about the seasons of life that broke us, what it takes to find God’s voice when everything else is loud, and the struggle of figuring out who you’re becoming when the world has its own ideas about that.
The main anchor of the whole conference from the main speaker, was the book of Nehemiah. And if you know Nehemiah, that man did not get to rebuild the wall without first sitting in the rubble.
The panel conversation was honest in a way that I think women are hungry for. We talked about breaking and blooming, and I shared some of my own story as well.
If God is going to use you mightily, you are going to go through some crushing and you don’t bloom in spite of the breaking. You bloom because of it. So wherever you are right now, in the breaking, in the waiting, somewhere in between, you are not behind.
You are becoming.
