A new episode of the Dear Christian Girl Podcast is out and this is a testimony you should listen to.
My guest this week is Meghan McComb, a wife of over 40 years, a homeschool mom, and an author whose newest book series almost didn’t get written at all.
Meghan grew up in a home that looked fine from the outside but was unstable on the inside. She grew up with parents who loved her but were stretched thin by money problems and long work hours. Eventually, their marriage ended in divorce after 26 years of marriage. It left Meghan broken and with the belief that marriages simply didn’t last.
By 6th grade, curiosity made her read a friend’s book on witchcraft and that lured her into séances, Ouija boards, and eventually she formed a small coven with her classmates. Her friends lost interest in witchcraft, but Meghan didn’t. She kept going until she eventually entered a covenant with Satan.
The turning point came in 1991, when her deliverance started, and years later, the story God brought her through, became the foundation for a book which has become a best seller; The Rose In The Fire series; Book One: Lies and Deception and Book Two: The Rose From The Tower
In this episode, Meghan shares how God brought her out of the occult, restored her understanding of marriage and family, and ultimately gave her a story worth putting on paper.
We talk about witchcraft, the occult, deliverance, marriage, family, and what it looks like when God completely transforms a life.
Her testimony is a powerful reminder that curiosity can open doors we never intended to walk through, but there is no place too dark for Jesus to reach.
